A Generic Pattern serves as a basis for an Applied Pattern. It houses the general description of the intended functionality of the Applied Patterns based upon it.
When you have edit rights in this wiki: to create a new Generic Pattern, visit the Generic Pattern form. Note that you can also edit an existing Generic Patterns with the tab "edit with form".
