Introduction

Generic Patterns are grouped under "Infrastructure Sectors"; this property of type text records the connection between the Pattern and its Sector. An infrastructure sector is a segment of an abstract infrastructure landscape. The position of a Generic Pattern in a specific infrastructure sector reflects the intended purpose of the infrastructure facilities that will be based on the Pattern.
