Amounts of data are increasing rapidly. However, ArchiSurance has induced a program to implement Information Life Cycle Management and is expecting that data volumes will decrease.  +
Since facilities in this environment often provide support to facilities and applications that are used to carry out business processes, they need to provide sufficient capacity without incurring unnecessary cost. This means that during times of heavy use, ArchiSurance should be able to increase the capacity of facilities that are affected by excessive usage and decrease this capacity when the peak has subdued. Because of the nature of the facilities in this Working Area/Environment, scaling out (the preferred way of enforcing scalability) is not always possible, in that case, scale up/down provisions need to be in place.  +
Flexibility in resources consumed is one of the most important drivers to use these kind of services. ArchiSurance uses these services to thrive innovation and support sales events, causing peak utilization.  +

Satellite locations might expand very quickly, therefore expansion of bandwidth should be very easy.  +
Regional traffic patterns tend to change, dependent from business development. Therefore it is necessary that capacity can easily be added and reduced (without a penalty fee imposed by a Service Provider)  +
Capacity demands increase over time, not only per connected system but also by the number of connected systems.  +

Increasing data volumes and the raise of legal responsibilities require a great capacity for growth of off-site storage facilities.  +
Data volumes are expected to increase further, e.g. mail and document data.  +
