Element

An Element is a logical component that is used to construct a (logical) infrastructure facility (Building Block). There are several types of Elements:

  • guideline
  • standard
  • note
  • ....

Elements are used in the description of Building Block Variants, the actual 'molds' in the infrastructure Reference Architecture. In a Building Block Variant description, only those Elements should be listed that are common standards for an organization's infrastructure landscape and that are to be applied every time a mold is utilized. 13 Elements are currently present in this Wiki, and (up to 100 Elements) can be found in the table below.
