Description

This Building Block Type belongs to Working Area Middleware (MW). This facility is capable of changing the content of a message according to predefined rules. The changes can consist of any combination of

• removing (part of) the message content;
• adding to the message content; or
• modifying (part of) the message content.

Reasons to change the content of a message may be very diverse:

• to delete a virus from an email;
• to add a disclaimer to the end of an email;
• to transform an XML message into HTML according to XSL Transformation rules.
