|description=Facilities in the "Distribution Point" environment support the automation of storage and end-point delivery of groceries. Some facilities from the Working Area Server are located here (in a distributed form) in order to minimize the networking capacity that is needed. Examples of those facilities are Mail Stores, Print Queues and Document Management provisions.
{{Business Context Area
|context=ArchiSurance delivers grocery products to customers by making use of Distribution Points (like gas stations or shoe repair shops). Customers can order products on-line and collect their orders at Distribution Points at a time that is convenient for them. At Distribution Points, groceries are delivered and stored, prior to customer pick-up. That means that at Distribution Points climate control and other preservative measures are being taken. Customers can also return goods at their Distribution Point, requiring administrative facilities to cope with this.
|manageability=High
|manageability reason=A Distribution Point is an Environment in which ArchiSurance interacts with customers. Customers pick up their orders here. Failing facilities can cause negative customer experiences. Because Distribution Points are physically located at a (long) distance from locations where maintenance staff resides, good (remote) manageability should be guaranteed, in order to make repair times as short as possible, to reduce negative customer experiences on malfunctions and to reduce traveling time of maintenance personnel.
|availability=Best-Effort
|availability reason=Server facilities at a Distribution Point should be reliable in a basic way, because malfunctions may hinder customer service. However, facilities within this Working Area (Server) are not as critical to the business as is the case with the facilities of the Working Area Client Realm.
