Adaptability [[Scalability::up and down]] has ordinal number [[Scalability ordinal::15]]. It's one-sentence description is:<br>

When a facility has upward and downward scalability, then the capacity of the facility can be increased or decreased by measures acting on the facility itself. For example:
* a server can be scaled up or down by adding or removing memory
* an internet connection can be scaled up or down by having the provider assign more or less bandwidth to your connection
